$68.00 - $73.00/hr. Responsibilities
Creating search areas within their geographic area of responsibility. Working with the performance team to understand area and issues within his/her sector. Working with System Performance counterparts to understand issues and help reduce Lost Calls and Ineffective Attempts within their sector. Other responsibilities include: creating and supplying cell site translations; performing drive testing to evaluate search area candidate as necessary; preparing FCC/FAA and FAS submissions in a timely manner; performing radio engineering evaluation for system planning and site acquisition; beginning to identify location specific needs for new cells taking baseline, performance, capacity, and population into consideration; and evaluating coverage problems and requirements for coverage cells. Performing review of existing designs and validating radio and antenna configuration for accuracy prior to construction. Submitting and reviewing E911 filings, and reviewing regulatory filings to ensure accuracy as well as approval before integration and turn up of new sites and carriers. Candidates will be building sites in Atoll, FUZE and SiteTraker, modeling new solutions, sites and optimization projects. Performing capacity analysis of existing sites, modeling optimization and capacity solutions in Atoll, submitting projects in FUZE and SiteTraker. Collaborating with System Performance Engineers on optimization solutions and suggestions, including modeling proposed changes and submitting required filings. Collaborating with Real Estate on site designs, node location selection, new site designs and changes as needed. Working with Equipment Engineering for the proper radios, antennas and equipment and with Network Assurance to validate new builds and network changes. Performing field site walks as required. Redesigning existing locations to support new features and technologies as needed. Tracking projects related to the RF environment from start to project implementation and ensuring FAA and FCC regulations are followed. Reviewing current and future projects for possible cost reduction initiatives. Must Have Skills
Demonstrated knowledge in Atoll RF Modeling software Demonstrated knowledge of 4G LTE specifications, messaging and features (4TX/4RX, CAGG, VoLTE, etc.) Demonstrated understanding of LTE Network Capacity Demonstrated knowledge of Antenna fundamentals, modeling and implementation Proficient in office computer applications: Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Access Excellent analytic, interpersonal, and communication skills Excellent troubleshooting skills Ability to navigate Ericsson OSS and Ericsson LTE reporting Desired Skills
Experience in data collection and analysis of drive test data Decision making skills with available information and data; responsible for specific projects or portions of larger projects Ability to balance technical and business requirements Strong organizational and planning skills Ability to maintain performance under pressure and adapt to situations with limited guidelines Flexible and creative; able to adjust to a dynamic environment Willing to work flexible hours, including night or weekend as needed Must work in a Telecommunication office in Omaha, NE or Minneapolis, MN Valid driver’s license required Education/Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or Engineering, or equivalent work experience Minimum of 5 years’ experience in telecommunications with focus on RF design Years of Experience

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is:
$68.00 - $73.00/hour . Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment, 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending accounts, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accommodations and reimbursement for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus.
