Overview
Position Title: Concrete Construction Superintendent Company: B&B Concrete Enterprises Inc. Salary: $160,000-$190,000 per year + Performance Bonus Industry: Concrete Location: Hudson Valley Region Job Overview: B&B Concrete Enterprises Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concrete Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on complex concrete infrastructure projects. From building superstructures and pump stations to water treatment facilities and bridge substructures, this is a career-defining opportunity for a hands-on leader ready to oversee high-impact work. Oversee daily site operations, ensuring timely execution of all construction activities Lead, mentor, and manage 20+ craft personnel and 3-5 foremen across multiple trades Review and interpret architectural, structural, civil, rebar and MEP drawings Identify conflicts across drawings and resolve discrepancies before affecting production Manage concrete formwork, rebar, placement, finishing, curing, and cold/hot weather operations Conduct QA/QC inspections and maintain all project documentation and reports Monitor and enforce jobsite safety standards in accordance with OSHA guidelines Develop short-term and rolling look-ahead schedules (3-6 weeks) Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveries Hold daily toolbox talks and weekly coordination meetings Represent the company professionally in client meetings and on job sites Ensure work is completed to the highest quality, on schedule, and within budget Qualifications
7+ years experience in commercial concrete construction 5+ years in a superintendent or lead supervisory role Proven experience managing water/wastewater plants, tanks, pump stations, and superstructures Mastery of blueprint reading and coordinating between multiple disciplines Deep knowledge of ACI standards and concrete best practices Track record of achieving high safety and production standards Strong leadership and team-building abilities Basic understanding of technology with interest in BIM and digital construction tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills High school diploma or GED required Knowledge of the use of Total Stations is preferred Benefits
