About the Opportunity
A growing company in the Columbia, MD area is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their collaborative Finance team. This is a key role supporting month-end close, financial reporting, and forecasting for one of their fastest-growing business units. You’ll gain exposure to both corporate and operational accounting, with opportunities to build on your revenue and analytical experience.
What You’ll Do
Own parts of the monthly financial close – journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, and revenue recognition.
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and budget vs. actual reports.
Manage cash activity, invoicing, and collections of accounts receivable.
Partner with business leaders to provide insight into results and variances.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis.
Continuously improve accounting processes and system efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1–3 years of experience as a Staff or Senior Accountant (public or private).
Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close.
Solid Excel skills; experience with Workday or Salesforce is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Schedule:
Hybrid – 3 days in office (Tuesday–Thursday) in Columbia, MD
Compensation:
$90K–$95K base + Bonus
