Experience leading the end-to-end lifecycle of a Cybersecurity or Cloud compliance project. Understanding of security principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks, as well as complies with the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DoDD 8140.01). You’re equally comfortable explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. As a Technical Program Manager for Cybersecurity Compliance in Google Public Sector, you will be a tactical lead for Cloud compliance, privacy, and resilience initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of security and compliance, enabling us to serve our public sector customers. The US base salary range for this full-time position is
$132,000-$189,000
+ bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Identify gaps and facilitate conversations with technical program leads around security and compliance issues. Triage and manage backlog of security issues and escalations, while ensuring timely resolution. Track and manage security risks and dependencies across different workstreams and projects. Facilitate communication and collaboration between operations, engineering, product, legal and compliance teams to ensure alignment on security requirements. Manage and track the execution of security and compliance programs, ensuring that we meet our milestones and objectives.
