What You'll Do
Maintaining the operational security posture for mission-critical information systems.
Developing and enforcing information system security policies, standards, and methodologies.
Supporting day-to-day security operations, including system monitoring and incident response.
Conducting vulnerability and risk assessments to support system certification and accreditation (C&A).
Evaluating security solutions to ensure they meet requirements for handling classified data.
Managing system configuration, changes, and security impact assessments.
Preparing and reviewing key documentation including:
System Security Plans (SSPs)
Risk Assessment Reports
Certification & Accreditation (C&A) packages
System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs)
Additional Responsibilities
Serve as the Information Systems Security Approval Authority for systems under your control.
Provide technical and compliance support for the organization's Information Assurance (IA) program.
Plan, coordinate, and enforce IT security programs across various systems and projects.

Qualifications Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field and 14+ years of related Systems Engineering experience
OR
Associates degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field and 17+ years of related Systems Engineering experience
OR
High School and 19 years of related Systems Engineering experience
Certifications: DoD 8570 IAM Level I or higher required.
Clearance: Active TS/SCI with current polygraph required.

Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
