Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Cloud Engineer
to lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), infrastructure as code, automation, and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions that are secure, scalable, and cost-effective.
Lead cloud migration projects and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
Automate deployment pipelines and manage CI/CD workflows.
Monitor cloud systems for performance, reliability, and security.
Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps, and security teams to ensure best practices.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior cloud engineers.
Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.
Expertise in one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
Strong experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
