Web Developer position at Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School is seeking a full-time Web Developer. The ideal candidate will be able to code, design, and maintain websites, with a strong understanding of web development principles and various coding languages. Responsibilities
Creating, testing, and maintaining or updating websites. Meeting with administrator to discuss needs and requirements, and ensure vision is well executed. Setting up back end of a site. Working with the style and functionality of a site. Ensuring security of websites. Qualifications
Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis and the formulation of action plans. Ability to use computer network system and software applications as needed. Ability to organize and coordinate work. Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work. Education & Experience
Associate or bachelor’s degree in web development, computer science, or a related field. At least two years of development experience. A substantial portfolio. Strong technical skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other programming languages. Familiar with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla and Drupal. Job Details
