Overview

As an OEM Account Director, you will be responsible for working with HID's world class family of OEM partners driving overall revenue growth and strategic alignment with HID's products, brands, and services. The successful individual will have a proven track record of accomplishment with large-scale customer account and relationship management for both existing partners as well as through new identified opportunities in North America. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in the physical security industry, possesses excellent sales and communications skills, working knowledge of HID’s PACS product portfolio, and a thorough understanding of complex, technical sales through matrix organizations in a regional/global environment. What you will do / Responsibilities

Own and grow relationships with top-tier OEM accounts, fostering long term business relationships through a trusted advisor role.

Drive implementation of HID product portfolio and alignment with business area go to market strategy.

Develop and execute account strategies to achieve sales targets, improve profitability, and expand market share.

Collaborate with HID management and legal to negotiate and facilitate contractual arrangements with the accounts.

Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to monitor partnership health and strength of HID wallet share.

Represent HID at OEM hosted partner events and industry trade shows.

Participate as a member of the OEM Account team, working closely with regional sales teams to identify opportunities, market development needs and account growth.

Work closely with partner marketing teams to develop and execute HID brand marketing initiatives.

Provide information to the relevant HID teams via Salesforce and SharePoint (customer reports, opportunities, notifications).

Your Experience and Background include

Bachelor’s degree in technology or business-related field.

Candidates with equivalent education plus relevant industry experience may also be considered.

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the access control and/or security marketplace.

Experience in international sales is a plus.

General security industry knowledge including key manufacturers, products and solutions, integrators, and channel structures.

Proven skills in complex technical sales of security products with manufacturers and/or major integrators.

Excellent track record in customer satisfaction and teamwork.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and perform under pressure to meet deadlines and drive programs in a complex matrix organization.

Ability to travel worldwide as required to effectively manage job responsibilities.

Technical knowledge and understanding of HID’s product portfolio including controllers, readers, credentials and mobile access is a plus.

Proven record of revenue accomplishment with large strategic accounts.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At HID, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

Salary specifics : The base salary in the United States is $110,000 to $138,000. The OTE is up to $230,000.
