Overview
Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Paralegal for a dedicated and community-centered legal services provider advocating on behalf of workers and employee rights. This is a full-time, in-office position based in El Segundo, California. POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support a busy litigation practice focused on employment and labor-related matters. This role involves hands-on case management, legal filing, and consistent collaboration with attorneys and clients. Prepare and file legal documents in both state and federal courts Coordinate calendars, schedule hearings and depositions, and track case deadlines Serve as a liaison between attorneys and clients, providing regular updates and assistance Maintain organized and detailed client and case files, both physical and electronic Provide Spanish-English interpretation and communication support as needed Assist with preparing materials and logistics for court appearances and depositions Qualifications
Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) Strong organizational and communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities Prior experience in a legal setting, preferably related to employment or civil litigation Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and purpose-driven environment Compensation and Benefits
This full-time, in-office opportunity offers an hourly pay rate starting at $30/hour and is commensurate with experience. The role includes access to medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits. Additionally, the organization offers a 401(k) retirement plan, discretionary annual bonuses, incentive pay based on individual and department goals, and generous paid time off.
