Utah - Contract Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner We are seeking a Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about reaching individuals who need mental healthcare but lack easy access to it. This role offers the flexibility and rewards of private practice—without the hassle of administrative work. Talkspace handles insurance billing, marketing, and administrative costs, so you can create your own schedule and focus on providing impactful care. This is a contract position. Responsibilities
Treat patients in your state(s) of licensure Conduct initial Psychiatric Diagnosis Interview Examinations (PDE) for new patient referrals and Evaluation & Management (E/M) sessions for established patients Use the Talkspace platform to conduct video call sessions with patients, submit clinical documentation, and manage patient treatment plans Coordinate with the Talkspace psychiatry team as needed Perks
Easy-to-Use: Seamlessly conduct video call sessions with patients, manage cases, create treatment plans, and submit clinical documentation No Overhead: No insurance barriers, marketing budgets, or administrative costs typically associated with private practice Flexible: Practice from home on your own time and select a schedule that fits with other obligations Secure: Patient-provider communications are protected with bank-level security and encryption technology HIPAA-Compliant: Adherence to HIPAA BAA regulations and patient confidentiality Compensation
$110 per initial session with a new patient referral (Psychiatric Diagnosis Interview Examination - 45-60 min) $30-$85 per follow-up session with an established patient (Evaluation and Management - 10-49 min) About You
Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Utah state and 2+ years prescribing experience Active DEA and individual NPI number Submission of a fully completed, signed CAQH application Reliable internet connection Independent liability insurance; minimum coverage amount required is $1 million occurrence/$3 million aggregate Why Talkspace?
