Overview
We are looking for candidates with medical backgrounds and excellent interpersonal skills for the position of Clinical Research Coordinator. The role involves conducting clinical research trials in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, and applicable trial standards. The candidate will perform required visit procedures, administer questionnaires and subject materials, adhere to regulatory trial standards, and participate in subject recruitment efforts, among other duties. Responsibilities
Overseeing the smooth running of clinical trials. Performing clinic visits as per the protocol, GCP, and FDA guidelines. Completing procedures such as phlebotomy, EKGs, vitals, and assessments. Collecting and entering data obtained for the trial. Informing participants about study objectives. Administering questionnaires. Monitoring research participants to ensure adherence to study rules. Adhering to research regulatory standards. Adhering to ethical standards. Maintaining detailed records of studies per FDA guidelines and regulatory documentation. Managing investigational medication, including receiving, dispensing, storing, and accountability. Liaising with laboratories, processing, shipping, and ensuring investigators review reports. Participating in subject recruitment efforts. Ensuring necessary supplies and equipment for a study are in stock and in working order. Engaging with subjects, addressing concerns, and managing visit flow as indicated in the protocol. All other job duties as assigned by the Department Manager. Qualifications
Attention to detail. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Good computer and technical skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication. Excellent organizational skills. Willingness to continually self-educate. CCRC certification a plus. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus. Seniority level
