Responsibilities
Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms with precision, ensuring a safe and supportive experience for patients.
Accurately position patients to obtain high-quality imaging results.
Conduct daily quality control and assurance checks on mammography equipment.
Document exam and patient history in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
Address scheduling concerns and maintain a clean, organized department environment.
Qualifications
ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT M) and a valid Florida State Radiologic Technologist License.
Compliance with MQSA standards for Digital & 3D Mammography.
Current BLS Certification.
Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience with a patient-focused, proactive, and team-oriented attitude.
Ability to stand for extended periods and assist patients with limited mobility; frequent bending and reaching required for proper positioning.
