Underwrite complex commercial real estate transactions across the capital stack, including senior mortgages, mezzanine loans, B-notes, preferred equity, JV equity, and non-performing loans (NPLs). Conduct property-level due diligence and financial modeling for multifamily, industrial, hospitality, retail, and office assets. Prepare detailed credit memorandums outlining investment rationale, underwriting assumptions, risk analysis, sponsor review, and market dynamics. Support structuring and legal review of transactions in collaboration with senior investment professionals and legal counsel. Assist in the formulation of investment strategies for new and existing positions, including scenario modeling and market research. Contribute to asset management initiatives through performance tracking, borrower engagement, and strategic repositioning efforts. Qualifications
3 - 5 years of experience in commercial real estate, with a focus in underwriting, loan origination, debt/equity asset management, or loan workouts. Strong proficiency in Excel and Argus; ability to interpret complex debt structures and cash flow waterfalls. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving. High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
