Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and adaptable Technical Writer – Policies & Procedures to support the Government Security Services (GSS) enablement organization within a highly regulated financial services environment. This role will focus on creating, editing, and restructuring operational documentation that aligns with evolving business models and governance standards across the GSS platform. Key Responsibilities
Policy & Procedure Documentation: Develop, update, and refine clear, structured policy and procedural documents supporting GSS operations across multiple product lines. Information Gathering: Research, interview subject matter experts, and collaborate with technical and operations staff to ensure documentation accurately reflects processes and requirements. Content Organization: Carve out and restructure existing procedures to align with new operational models, distinguishing between GSS-specific and enterprise-wide processes. Collaboration: Work closely with various teams throughout the GSS enablement space, engaging with stakeholders ranging from engineers to directors and product owners. Quality & Consistency: Ensure all documentation adheres to established style guides, is free from grammatical errors, and aligns with compliance standards. Adaptability: Manage shifting priorities, work independently under minimal supervision, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-changing environment. Ad Hoc Projects: Support additional documentation initiatives and special projects as assigned. Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to refine content and improve document usability. Qualifications
3–5 years of experience developing or maintaining policies, procedures, or technical documentation Proven ability to write for technical and operational audiences (including engineers, product owners, and management) Strong command of grammar, structure, and clarity—accuracy and attention to detail are essential Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple concurrent projects Familiarity with AI concepts and their relevance to documentation workflows Experience working within a highly regulated environment (e.g., financial services, government, or risk/compliance) Strong collaboration skills and the ability to interface with cross-functional teams Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and intranet content structures Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered Why Join Us
