to join our team! We care for dogs, cats, pocket pets/exotics. New grads are welcome to apply, and we also welcome 2025 graduates who want a true mentorship program. If you have an interest in surgery, this is the place for you! Deer Creek Animal Hospital
is a 3-doctor practice that has treated small animals in the Overland Park area for years. We are a surgery-heavy hospital and offer opportunities to learn a wide range of surgeries (soft tissue and advanced). We are a family-run, full-service animal hospital that welcomes emergency treatment cases as well as routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Dr. Russell Cain has years of experience treating serious conditions and providing regular wellness care, including advanced surgeries such as TPLOs. We strive to create a clinic that is comfortable, kid-friendly, and calm for both pets and clients. We invite doctors to pursue their own interests in medicine and provide support to bring new skills to our patients and clients. Our facility features 4 exam rooms in a modern setting with services such as pet boarding, grooming, and day care. We provide a wide range of services, including spay/neuter, orthopedic surgeries, advanced soft tissue, TPLO, dentistry, ultrasound, in-house internal medicine, radiology, pocket pets/exotics, nutrition, and emergency treatment as needed.
