Overview
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day inventory support in our warehouse locations. This position will play an integral role in preparing and processing physical inventory and routine cycle counts throughout the warehouses. Responsibilities
Assists with the receipt of materials, including unloading trucks and following the appropriate product check-in and labeling processes. Responsible for accurate documentation of inventory movement, lists, and counts. Resolves day to day inventory control issues accurately and productively. Tracks and physically counts all items grouped as part of a cycle count or aisle audit. Routinely inspects inventory for damage or shrinkage and report results to management. Troubleshoots inventory inaccuracies and discrepancies. Performs individually assigned daily inventory reconciliation tasks. Responsible for daily inventory counts. Cross trains on other warehouse jobs for assistance and understanding of warehouse performance. Must have 1 or more years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or similar environment. Must have 1 or more years of experience with inventory control or related. Intermediate experience with computers and Microsoft Office products. Must be able to do data entry in the warehouse management system. Ability to track inventory and create basic reports as needed. Qualifications
1+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or a similar environment. 1+ years of experience with inventory control or related field. Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office; data entry in a warehouse management system. Ability to track inventory and generate basic reports. Key Attributes
