Overview

Customer Integration Specialist role at Gordon Food Service - Canada. Performed in a customer-facing capacity with project management and facilitation to transition customers during onboarding or offboarding for North American Multi Unit National, Regional, Healthcare and Education segments. Responsibilities include gathering requirements as defined in the Master Distribution Agreement (MDA), creating project documentation, overseeing the integration plan, and handing off completed projects to the account management team. Assimilate customer expectations of third parties and Gordon Food Service as defined in the MDA. Supports the North American Program Accounts team with training and development of tools to improve key performance objectives. What You Will Do

Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of departmental SOPs within the Program Sales segment and standardize practices across projects with internal teams. Lead meetings and agendas for internal and customer-facing sessions, including scheduling, preparing agendas, coordinating tasks, and guiding conference meetings. Demonstrate adept knowledge of the Master Distribution Agreement and implement its requirements. Facilitate the accuracy and completion of the Product Validation Grid to gain customer approval of items, source items from vendors, load forecasts for inventory replenishment, initiate test punches, and finalize customer Order Guides. Facilitate item-level analysis and review of all products purchased to/from incumbent distributors on behalf of customers during onboarding and offboarding. Create and maintain project documentation for all customer integrations (onboarding and offboarding). Maintain project status and ensure task completion; hold project team members accountable for on-time delivery. Provide project updates to internal account teams and customers, summarizing annual performance objectives. Foster a climate of collaboration and inclusiveness across multiple internal teams and disciplines. Mentor peers and serve as a role model to align with company values. Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Hybrid work schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day from home. What You'll Bring To The Table

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or related field preferred. Ability to perform at a level equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field, typically achieved by 5+ years of relevant work experience or a combination of experience and education. Ability to lead and facilitate live and virtual meetings with internal and external audiences (1 to 100+ participants). Excellent customer service, mentoring, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to develop, refine, communicate, and implement plans; set and define goals. Knowledge of industry and segments. Ability to analyze and interpret data. Time management, administration, and organizational skills. Problem-solving skills with accuracy and thoroughness. Proficient leadership abilities; capable of motivating others and influencing direction without explicit authority.
