About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable preparing a wide range of individual and business tax returns, managing multiple client projects, and working both independently and collaboratively in a small-office environment. This position requires proficiency with Intuit products—including QuickBooks and ProSeries—as well as Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review individual, partnership, corporate, and fiduciary tax returns using ProSeries
Assist with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and year-end close in QuickBooks
Communicate directly with clients to request and clarify tax documentation
Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential client records
Stay current on federal and state tax regulations and filing requirements
Support the firm with additional accounting and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent experience preparing individual and small business tax returns
Strong proficiency with Intuit ProSeries, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management
Professional communication and client service skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
EA or CPA designation preferred but not required

Salary: Competitive based on experience
