Overview
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer (PE) to join an award-winning, woman-owned consultancy headquartered in Houston, TX. This role focuses on transportation, drainage, and water resources projects for municipal and TxDOT clients.
Responsibilities
Lead roadway, drainage, and water-resource project design and analysis
Prepare PS&E packages, schematics, hydraulic models, cost estimates, and bid documentation
Manage project schedules, budgets, and QA/QC
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
Attend stakeholder and public meetings
Support construction activities including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site visits
Mentor junior engineers and support internal development initiatives
Assist with proposals, pre-bid meetings, and business development
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
Active Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)
6 - 8+ years of civil engineering experience in transportation, drainage, and water resources
Expertise in roadway design, H&H drainage modeling, and stormwater systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience coordinating with agencies and public entities
Preferred
Experience with TxDOT schematic and PS&E design standards
Familiarity with GIS, estimating, and project management tools
Mentoring and leadership of junior engineers
Compensation & Benefits
Salary $95K - $135K DOE
