Project Manager - Connecticut/ Massachusetts Region
A growing civil/environmental contracting firm based in Boston is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects throughout Connecticut and New England. The company specializes in a range of services including demolition, excavation, dredging, utility work, landfill capping, and closures.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead project teams to meet goals for quality, schedule, cost control, safety, profitability, and client satisfaction.
Manage financial aspects of projects, including budgets, profit margins, monthly cost analyses, status reports, and schedule updates.
Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure proper staffing for each project.
Oversee invoicing and negotiate change orders with clients when necessary.
Support Project Engineers in resolving project-related issues.
Handle claims involving subcontractors, vendors, or clients to ensure timely and cost-effective resolutions.
Ensure compliance with insurance, labor relations, EEO policies, and safety/quality control programs.
Foster team collaboration, mentor junior staff, and clarify roles and responsibilities within the project team.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of managerial and supervisory experience in the construction industry.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
