Role Overview The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. As a Delivery Consultant, you will be proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet each customer’s needs. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, propose migration strategies, and lead implementation ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks.

The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives, delivering focused guidance through global specialty practices that cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.

Position requires the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen and to possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Key Responsibilities

Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.

Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.

Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.

Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.

Qualifications

3+ years of architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.).

3+ years of software development experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Current, active U.S. Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation).

Proficiency in automation and scripting (Terraform, Python).

Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ICD).

Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Preferred: AWS Professional level certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional). Preferred: AWS experience.

Compensation and Benefits The Colorado base pay for this position ranges from $131,300/year up to $177,600/year. The National base pay ranges from $118,200/year in the lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in the highest. Compensation also includes equity, sign‑on payments, and comprehensive benefits.
