Housekeeping Supervisor for JdV by Hyatt - Brooklyn, NY
Start Your Journey With Midas Hospitality. Midas Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at the JdV by Hyatt located in Brooklyn, NY. This person will be in charge of overseeing the housekeeping staff and department under the direction and supervision of the Operations Manager and Assistant General Manager. We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented and thorough person who will help our hotel be award winning and ensure the satisfaction of all hotel guests according to Hyatt Brand Standards.
What You Will Be Doing
Supervise and inspect the cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house.
Obtain list of vacant rooms that need to be cleaned and assign work tasks accordingly.
Maintain supplies and equipment; assist in monthly inventory and maintain inventory levels.
Maintain the security of all housekeeping, maid and guest room keys at all times.
Document and communicate maintenance requests to the maintenance department.
Open and close the house and address room discrepancies in coordination with Front Desk, Operations Manager and Assistant General Manager.
Prepare rooms for VIPs and tiered members and provide applicable amenities.
The Ideal Candidate
One year of supervisory experience.
One year of housekeeping experience in a hotel setting.
