Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers in the design and development of electrical systems and components.
Coordinate and oversee project timelines, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and project management, to align on project goals and requirements.
Mentor team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development and technical skills.
Conduct technical reviews and design evaluations to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with electrical design and implementation processes.
Participate in customer meetings to present engineering solutions and solicit feedback for continuous improvement.
Participation in supplier negotiations, First Article Inspections (FAI) and bid projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
Proven experience (5+ years) in electrical engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, circuit analysis, and system integration.
Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex technical concepts effectively.
Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team and facilitate a collaborative working environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented approach.
