Responsibilities
Understanding and making sure that we meet our clients’ contractual obligations. Strong fiscal management skills, including budgets, purchase orders, invoicing, billings, and schedule of values. Performing buyout and procuring submittals in an expeditious manner. Managing and coordinating mechanical construction projects from conception to completion. Fully understanding all projects in-depth, enabling yourself to order materials/equipment, issue subcontracts, develop billings, complete, and manage RFIs and change orders, as well as prepare/review submittals etc. You must be able to ensure all project team members are fully informed of this information. In depth understanding of HVAC/Plumbing systems, duct work, piping, and related components. Being proactive and planning ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging issues before they become a problem. Working with our BIM/VDC department to ensure a timely coordination process. Collaborating with our company’s Safety Director to manage and mitigate project risks, as well as ensure safety on the jobsites. Primary qualifications
7-10 years as a Project Manager or Sr. Project Manager in Mechanical Construction. Experience in Construction Management or related field. Knowledge of HVAC and Piping Systems, building products, construction quality standards. Self-motivated with excellent time and project management skills. Possesses a strong personal commitment for long-term and meaningful goals. Experience with estimating is a plus. We are looking for someone who can use this knowledge to complete change orders and be able to extract estimated hours to build a resource-loaded schedule.
