Financial Compliance Auditor III, Finance Contract details: 4+ Month Contract to Hire. Remote opportunity based out of Los Angeles, CA. Base pay range : $63.00/hr - $66.00/hr Employer: Solugenix is assisting a health insurance client. Job ID 25-09689 This is a remote role within the Financial Compliance Unit, responsible for financial solvency reviews of plan partners, participating provider groups, capitated hospitals, specialty health plans, and vendors contracted with the client. The position involves performing, reporting, and corrective action plan monitoring, and leading assigned audits in accordance with GAAS, GAAP, DMHC/DHCS/CMS regulations, and other applicable guidelines. This role requires ongoing communication with interdepartmental personnel, key stakeholders, and delegates, and includes mentorship and subject-matter-expert responsibilities. Qualifications Education Required Associate's Degree. In lieu of a degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered. Experience Required At least 5 years of experience performing financial audits with demonstrated experience in the listed knowledge/experience areas. Managed care, health care, insurance background financial audit/analyst experience, financial statement analysis, financial solvency, debt/asset analysis. Skills Required Self-motivated and detail-oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to prioritize assignments and work independently with minimal supervision; professional interfacing with internal and external customers at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Flexible mode of transportation for travel to off-site locations. Preferred Financial analysis Responsibilities Manage all aspects of financial solvency reviews, including planning, execution, continuous monitoring, and reporting of annual financial audits, quarterly and annual financial analyses, and special projects. Provide timely and accurate deliverables to ensure financial solvency compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements for plan partners, participating provider groups, capitated hospitals, specialty health plans, and vendors. Support design, implementation, and reporting of special projects such as Medical Loss Ratio. Support report and tool design for corrective action plans and non-compliance notifications. Assess, communicate, and implement regulatory requirements impacting internal processes. Formalize internal processes and monitoring tools with desktop procedures and policy development. Oversee pre-delegation reviews and deliver monthly/quarterly updates to business units. Monitor monthly membership reports. Coordinate with Legal Department and Delegation Oversight on requests and reporting. Communicate issues and findings clearly and timely. Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for other staff; collaborate with interdepartmental teams and delegates. Identify opportunities for technical solutions to improve business performance. Provide mentorship and cross-training across operations with specialized knowledge. Ensure deliverables meet department, organizational, and regulatory standards and policies. Provide training, recommend process improvements, and mentor junior staff as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Licenses/Certifications Required At least one of the following: CPA, CIA, CFE, or CISA. Pay Range (CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, DC) : $63/hour to $66/hour.
