The Challenge
Crave a technically challenging position that is also rewarding? This position is for a highly technical Multi-Function Administrator at the National ALIS Support Center, Tier 2 Service Desk. You will be responsible for helping maintain fielded, operational ALIS/ODIN Nodes across the F-35 enterprise, including the security and integrity of our systems that keep the jets flying. It takes more than steel, advanced electronics, and engine thrust to make the F-35 Lightning II take flight. It is the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) that gives F-35 operators the ability to plan, maintain, and sustain its systems over the life of the air vehicle. ALIS provides the IT backbone and capabilities to support current and future Warfighters across the U.S. and allied military services.
The National ALIS Support Center (NASC) requires a Multi-Function Information Systems Administrator to support ALIS/ODIN in the F-35 enterprise.
Responsibilities
Prioritizes and works customer cases in coordination with the shift team to ensure Tier 1 customer issues are responded to quickly and driven to resolution
Ensures complete documentation of troubleshooting steps and solutions within the Service Flo case tracking system
Ensures proper hand off occurs between outgoing and incoming shift personnel to avoid lapses in open cases
Ensures cases are escalated to the appropriate Tier 3 team when appropriate
Completes weekly follow up on all open cases
Special Requirements This position is at the F35 National ALIS Support Center supporting ALIS/ODIN. The successful candidate will serve as a Multi-Function Info Analyst supporting US/Partner/FMS customers in multiple regions and time zones by providing problem resolution to Tier 1 Administrators sites in all facets of the F-35 ALIS and MPE systems. This position and the NASC in general also provide daily support for and management of the US and QT OCKs as well as the OBK for the USRL.
As critical members of the NASC Team, all ALIS administrators must be able to:
Obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance required for program access
Work various shift hours to include weekends to support customer mission requirements.
