Quad/Graphics is seeking Seasonal Forklift/Material Handlers for our plant in Lomira, WI.
As a Seasonal Production Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in meeting production goals during peak times. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in the printing industry while operating state-of-the-art equipment in a clean and organized environment. Our seasonal positions are expected to run until November 22, 2025.
Work shifts may vary and include 12-hour days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on production demands. Flexibility and overtime availability are essential.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Transport products and pallets using hand jacks, motorized lifts, or forklifts (training provided).
Assist in servicing press and finishing machines to securely move products within the facility.
Utilize onboard PCs and RF barcoding systems to maintain accurate inventory records.
Load and unload finished products and materials from semi-trailers and auto-wrappers with a forklift.
Adhere to all company quality, safety, and work regulations.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless operations.
Participate in clean-up and housekeeping duties as required.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Strong computer skills are preferred.
Previous forklift experience is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
Experience in factory, manufacturing, or other mechanically inclined roles, such as laborer, machinist, assembly, or warehouse, is preferred.
Background in printing, finishing (bindery), or warehouse settings is a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Strong mechanical aptitude and independent work ethic.
Capability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
Good math skills and attention to detail.
Able to perform repetitive hand/wrist movements.
Skilled in prioritizing tasks and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient at collaborating as a team player.
Flexibility to follow a rotating shift schedule (3 on 4 off, 4 on 3 off) for 12-hour shifts between 7 AM to 7 PM.
