About the Role The Collections Analyst works closely with finance, sales, and customer service teams to manage overdue accounts, resolve payment issues, and support process improvements. Your main responsibility is to execute proactive collection strategies, handle disputes, and ensure timely payments from our customer base. This is an in‑office role; remote work is not offered.

Essential Functions

Manage collection requirements for a multi‑million dollar portfolio of accounts.

Communicate with customers via verbal and written communication to ensure the collection of outstanding accounts receivable.

Provide ongoing customer service to account contacts by supplying reports, handling special requests, and managing data submission of invoices.

Provide statements and invoices to customers as required.

Resolve customer discrepancy claims or non‑payment issues by appropriately raising issues to Billing and Sales Administration.

Process credit card transactions, refunds, adjustments and recommend write‑offs as needed.

Prepare required documentation for placing accounts with third‑party agents.

Generate status reports of portfolio aging and payments.

Provide coverage for other Collection Specialists as needed.

Support special projects as directed by the Credit & Collection Management.

Additional Functions

Support and exhibit behavior consistent with the company’s culture.

Act with diplomacy as a representative of the Finance Department.

Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Two (2) years of experience in credit and collections.

Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially advanced Excel.

Associate’s Degree or post‑high‑school education/training.

Professional appearance and manner.

Ability to handle multiple projects at once.

SAP experience is a strong plus.

Experience interacting professionally with customers and internal departments at all times.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Shipping experience preferred but not required.

Compensation The expected base pay is

$22.50 - $30.50 per hour . Actual base compensation will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, location, skills, experience and other objective business considerations.
