Responsibilities

Provides corporate IT related acquisition program and investment management, enterprise architecture and logistics data services. Ensures that the Agency is responsible, accountable, and in compliance with directives and guidance from DLA Leadership.

Oversight for enterprise architecture, emerging systems, and contemporary systems development and enhancements for either UIPath or ServiceNow, to include program management control and evaluation activities to meet desired mission outcomes.

Provides direction and guidance for the development and implementation of enterprise priority programs on either UIPath or ServiceNow. Exercises delegated authority in carrying out assigned program functions and services on either UIPath or ServiceNow.

Coordinates with other DoD and Federal agencies to identify and implement new business systems that support requirements by applying cost, schedule, and performance effectively.

Develops IT program policies, procedures, and practices for DLA systems ensuring the agency is meeting the mission.

Plans, directs, controls, and ensures the integration of enterprise activities for major functional and complex programs on UIPath or ServiceNow. Identifies new ways to meet the mission of DLA and work within the strategic direction of the CIO and PEO.

Develops an acquisition strategy for the UIPath or ServiceNow Programs. Mentor junior teammates on best practices to meet the mission of assigned Programs. Report status to leadership, including activities, and RIOs impacting the PMO.

Responsible for assuring maximum effectiveness, efficiency, success of, and the technical and administrative direction of UIPath or ServiceNow Program. Build collaborative partnerships across DLA stakeholders aligning activities with the DLA mission.

Provides expert guidance based on previous experience integrating AI assets on UIPath or ServiceNow. Participates in continuous process improvement events to determine how to improve on current processes and procedures to better meet the needs of DLA.

Employs strong interpersonal and communication skills to drive team success in achieving DLA objectives, delivering software solutions at a rapid pace. Works with high-ranking officials and advises management officials of higher rank.

Leads the implementation of automation initiatives across J6 and DLA J-Codes and MSCs, providing guidance to cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative environment focused on delivering significant efficiency improvements and accelerated software solutions.

Qualifications Qualification Summary

To qualify for an IT Specialist (OS), your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position. To qualify at the GS-15 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade, time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:

Provides overall direction and guidance for the development, acquisition, testing, systems integrations, product improvement and fielding of UIPath or ServiceNow programs.

Provides expert guidance on the employment of automation platforms in DLA (UiPath and ServiceNow) in the context of the agency business processes and has expertise in integrating these platforms with AI assets.

Develops IT program policies, procedures, and practices for systems ensuring DLA is responsible, accountable, and in compliance with directives and guidance on UIPath or ServiceNow.

Plans, directs, controls, and ensures the integration of enterprise activities for major functional and complex programs, including programs and applications for the UIPath or ServiceNow Programs.

Assures industry standards for UIPath or ServiceNow are implemented for maximum effectiveness, efficiency, and success of assigned IT programs and IT sustainment.

Experience leading and mentoring technical and non-technical program staff in support of the UIPath or ServiceNow Programs.

Understanding of resource optimization to maximize return on investment for UIPath or ServiceNow and related products and applications.

Experience working with UIPath or ServiceNow platforms and multiple applications on the platform and how they interconnect to support a connected enterprise.

Ability to conceptualize future interactions of all use cases on UIPath or ServiceNow and communicate how to maximize resource investment on the platform.

Experience includes paid and unpaid work, including volunteer service, which can count toward qualifications.
