Bilingual Accounting Assistant Manager - Winchester, KY
This Japanese logistics company is seeking a full-time, onsite Bilingual Accounting Assistant Manager for their Winchester, KY location. The role will manage financial operations, liaise with Japanese headquarters, and support growth initiatives. This is a temporary (3 months) to direct hire position. DOE and skills; the pay range is $50,000-$70,000.

Your Essential Duties
Manage day-to-day accounting operations using QuickBooks
Coordinate financial reporting between U.S. and Japanese offices
Support M&A activities and financial due diligence
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese
3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in logistics or related industries
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
Experience with international accounting practices preferred
Knowledge of FDA regulations and food logistics a plus
