The Float Universal Banker is a full-time, elite, specialized role within our retail banking group. This position offers variety, flexibility, and impact across multiple locations. You will deliver exceptional customer experiences while supporting teller and platform functions across multiple branch locations and engage in needs-based conversations to support financial wellness.

Base pay range $34,102.00/yr - $49,382.00/yr

What you will do as a Float Universal Banker

Travel up to 100% within the designated market area and support branch teams by filling in as needed across locations

Maintain extensive knowledge of retail bank products and services; strengthen existing customer relationships and develop new ones by understanding customer needs

Promote, explain, open and renew banking services such as consumer loans (excluding real-estate loans), IRAs, Certificates of Deposit, safe deposit boxes, etc.

Drive proactive, needs-based sales conversations through service-to-sales interactions and appointment setting

Assist customers with loan products and ensure packages are complete to minimize exceptions

Perform teller transactions (deposits, checks, cash handling, daily balancing) and place holds as needed

Educate customers on options for managing transactions using technology and available tools

Apply product and service knowledge to resolve customer problems

Assist other staff in serving customers and performing duties as necessary

Requirements to be successful as a Float Universal Banker

NMLS license

Minimum 3 years of retail sales experience

1+ years of experience working in a financial institution

Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel to different branches as needed

Knowledge of consumer credit structuring and lending practices

Demonstrated analytical, accuracy and problem-solving skills

Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills

Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
