This role offers remote work flexibility from anywhere in the U.S. For hires in Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, in-office work may be required four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret quantitative data to create and review both standard and ad hoc exhibits based on detailed data sets
Perform data mining and analysis that impacts foundational pricing and risk assumptions
Extract and compile group-specific utilization data to support customer reporting requirements
Translate numerical analyses into exhibits that effectively convey the results
Assist in communicating results to internal and external stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, math, finance, data science, economics or other quantitative field
Actuarial experience, either through exams passed or relevant work experience
2+ years of experience working in a corporate environment, including experience collecting, analyzing and summarizing qualitative/quantitative data
Expertise working with formulas, calculations, charts and graphs in MS Excel
Proven clear communication skills, particularly in conveying complex financial and actuarial topics to non-expert audiences
Demonstrated critical thinking skills that allow you to push through the data and find effective solutions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in finance or the health care industry
1+ years of experience building quantitative models in SQL, SAS and/or VBA
Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Access and/or PowerBI

Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to salary, benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (subject to eligibility). The salary range for this role is $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
