Manage and accurately process multi-state bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees in at least 3 different payroll entities with anticipated rapid growth in headcount over the next two years. Manage payroll functions for exempt and non-exempt employees, including but not limited to garnishments and tax filings. Maintain detailed and up-to-date payroll records, including employee data, payment histories, and tax information. Ensure accuracy of onboarding and offboarding data, salary adjustments, overtime, bonuses, and deductions (bi-weekly changes). Process deductions for benefits, retirement plans, wage garnishments, and other statutory or voluntary withholdings. Process late payments and resolve payroll discrepancies quickly and effectively. Primary point of contact for employees, answering questions, and resolving any payroll-related discrepancies or issues. Complete employment verification requests in a timely manner. Review and approve payroll reports and reconciliations identifying and correcting any discrepancies. Contribute to HRIS/Payroll process improvements, automation opportunities, and team training initiatives. Maintain strong working relationships with internal HR partners, Scheduling, Finance, and external payroll vendors. Verify employee timesheets to ensure accuracy for pay calculations. Guide supervisors and managers on payroll related processes and questions including but not limited to Holidays, PTO, final pay. Prepare payroll/benefits reports for HR, management, and internal audits, ensuring accurate financial accounting. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax calculations and requirements; ensure accurate filings to relevant government agencies. Stay up to date and informed about and adhering to changes in tax laws, labor regulations, and company payroll policies to maintain legal compliance. Superuser in Paylocity Payroll module. Weekly/biweekly/monthly/quarterly reports. Other duties as assigned. What You'll Need
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred. Proven 3+ years experience as a Payroll Specialist (multi-state experience preferred). Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing workflows and systems while maintaining a positive attitude. Experience with Paylocity strongly preferred. Work Location & Hours

The expected salary range for this role is 70,000.00k per year. Final compensation will be based on a range of factors, such as your skills, education, experience, certifications, market conditions, and internal equity.
