About the Role
We’re looking for a detail‑driven
Payroll Specialist
to join a high‑performing Finance & Accounting team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the
accurate processing, recording, and reporting of weekly multi‑state payroll , ensuring compliance with tax laws and company policies. You’ll collaborate closely with HR and finance teams to reconcile payroll accounts, address employee inquiries, and maintain clean, auditable payroll records.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a

Responsibilities
Process weekly, multi‑state payroll in compliance with all regulations
Maintain employee records: new hires, terminations, transfers, and pay changes
Review and verify timekeeping data and ensure accuracy before processing
Administer deductions (benefits, garnishments, taxes, retirement contributions)
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local wage and tax regulations
Generate payroll reports and audit files for internal and external use
Partner with HR and Finance to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality
Support year‑end activities: W‑2s, tax filings, and audits
Train and support managers on payroll and time systems
What You Bring
5+ years of payroll experience, ideally in
multi‑state or high‑volume
environments
Strong knowledge of
ADP WFN, Enhanced Time & Attendance, and E‑Time
Excellent understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel and payroll systems
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Additional Information Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 remote (Willingboro, NJ)
Casual‑professional office environment (“company gear” attire encouraged)
