Job Title: Sr. ITSM Developer Location: Austin, TX Job Type: Contract to hire Experience: 9-15 Years Skills: ITOM, CSM, or HRSD, Discovery, Agile / Scrum environments Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions within the ServiceNow platform focused on ITSM capabilities. Serve as the ITSM Subject Matter Expert, delivering best-practice configurations for Incident, Problem, Change, and Request workflows. Build and optimize workflows using Flow Designer, emphasizing low-code automation best practices. Develop and maintain Service Catalog items, custom widgets, and dynamic user experiences using the Service Portal. Configure and enhance the Virtual Agent for self-service and automation scenarios. Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and MID Servers. Build and maintain custom Performance Analytics dashboards and reporting solutions to support operational and strategic metrics. Collaborate with stakeholders across the enterprise, work independently, and mentor junior developers. Certification requirements: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); ITSM Implementation Specialist certification. Experience with ITOM, CSM, or HRSD is a plus; experience working in Agile / Scrum environments. Qualifications
Proven experience as a Senior ITSM Developer or similar role with ServiceNow ITSM focus. Strong knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, and Request management workflows. Experience with ITOM, CSM, or HRSD modules is advantageous. Proficiency with Flow Designer, REST/SOAP integrations, Integration Hub, and MID Servers. Service Portal development and analytics/reporting experience. ServiceNow CSA and ITSM Implementation Specialist certifications preferred. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders; capable of mentoring junior teammates. Job Function
