Windows 11 PC Deployment / IT Desktop Support Technician

Overview
Our client, a large Healthcare System throughout the Midwest, has multiple openings to support a project to upgrade technology. This includes replacing old PCs and upgrading to new devices in Windows 11. We are looking for IT Technicians who can work 1st shift on-site. Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows and Mac) and a range of software applications. Swap out laptops/desktops and deploy Windows 10 and Windows 11. Re-image Windows 11 onto machines from Windows 10. Assist all users with IT-related incidents when called upon. Take ownership of issues by performing problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes and restore service quickly; escalate incidents to other support teams when necessary. Accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system. Install and configure new IT equipment. Resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware. Resolve incidents with printers, copiers, and scanners. Maintain a first-class level of customer service, ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and professionally. Qualifications
Experience diagnosing and resolving software and hardware incidents on Windows and macOS environments. Experience swapping hardware, deploying Windows 10/11, and re-imaging machines. Strong incident ownership with ability to perform root-cause analysis and implement fixes; escalate when needed. Experience documenting requests in an IT service desk system. Ability to install and configure IT equipment and support peripherals (printers, copiers, scanners). Customer-service oriented with professional communication skills. CompTIA certifications are desirable for this role. Pay and Benefits
