Employment Litigation Associate – Ogletree Deakins (Austin, TX) Our Austin, TX office has an opportunity for an employment litigation associate to join the firm’s dynamic and long-established practice representing premier local and national employers. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who are proactive and passionate about assuming a high-level role providing legal service within a sophisticated practice and who are seeking to assume a significant role in all aspects of labor and employment law. This role requires extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies and opposing counsel. This role requires extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies and opposing counsel. Responsibilities
Perform legal research, draft legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings. Attend court conferences and handle discovery-related activities and investigations. Draft position statements and dispositive motions; counsel clients on employment-law-related matters. Collaborate with clients,政府 agencies and opposing counsel as required. Qualifications
Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in Texas; must meet continuing licensure requirements during employment. At least 6+ years of employment litigation experience. Labor and Employment litigation experience is required. Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills.
