Position Title: 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) Site Coordinator Location: Parker Elementary, Eastwood Elementary, or Wilbur Wright Elementary Reports to: 21st CCLC Program Director Classification: Full Time, School Year & Summer Position Summary
The 21st CCLC Site Coordinator plays a vital role in leading daily operations of the afterschool and summer programs at their assigned school site. The Site Coordinator ensures effective delivery of high-quality academic enrichment, physical activity, and social-emotional learning opportunities aligned with Indiana Academic Standards and the Indiana Afterschool Standards. This position manages program staff, coordinates logistics, maintains compliance, and serves as a liaison between school-day staff, families, community partners, and the Program Director. Key Responsibilities
Program Operations & Oversight: Manage day-to-day Out-of-School Time (OST) programming at the assigned site; implement structured program schedules, station rotations (e.g., tutoring, STEM, physical activity), and daily attendance systems using required data management system; coordinate setup, supervision, and transitions between program activities. Staff Supervision & Support: Supervise site-based staff, volunteers, and community partners; facilitate daily check-ins, ongoing support, and occasional observations and feedback; ensure fidelity to curriculum and behavior expectations. Student & Family Engagement: Monitor student progress and ensure alignment with school-day supports through regular collaboration with teachers, counselors, and administrators; target students for enrollment based on academic, behavioral, and attendance data; communicate regularly with families about program activities, student progress, and events (Fam Jams, Title I Nights). Compliance & Data Reporting: Maintain accurate program records, including attendance, incidents, and parent communication; collaborate with the Program Director and external evaluator to support ongoing data collection, reporting, and IN-QPSA completion; ensure compliance with IDOE, USDA, and 21st CCLC guidelines. Community & Partner Coordination: Coordinate with local organizations (YMCA, 4-H, Henry County Public Library, etc.) to facilitate enrichment and guest-led programming; recruit, onboard, and supervise volunteers in collaboration with partner organizations. Qualifications
Required
Associate’s degree or higher Minimum two years experience in program coordination, education, or OST settings Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to lead a team, engage with diverse stakeholders, and manage a dynamic, student-centered environment Preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred in education, youth development, social work, or related field Familiarity with Indiana Academic Standards and MTSS Experience using youth development frameworks or curricula Prior experience with 21st CCLC programs or similar federally funded initiatives Work Schedule
School Year: Monday–Friday during school year; 11:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. (or as needed based on site needs at Program Director’s discretion) Summer: Monday–Friday throughout June; 7:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. (at Henry County YMCA) Occasional evening hours required for family events and professional development. Compensation
Competitive hourly wage ($22-$25 hourly) plus opportunity to participate in school corporation health insurance plan Opportunities for wage increases based on professional development and attainment of the Child & Youth Care (CYC) credential.
