Overview The Manager, Social Programming & Publishing is responsible for day-to-day strategy, programming, and publishing for select official Animation franchise social and video channels. This role blends platform expertise, fan-first storytelling, and operational execution to deliver best-in-class content across key platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X). The Manager is the channel-level expert in cadence, voice, and performance, helping to bring our characters, worlds, and campaigns to life in ways that resonate with fans and align with brand goals. This role reports to the Sr. Manager and works closely with creative, marketing, and franchise stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own programming strategy and editorial planning for assigned Animation channels, including day-to-day content scheduling, performance optimization, and audience development.

Leverage post-level insights and platform trends to refine content approach and optimize channel output. Track performance against KPIs and apply learnings.

Partner with internal and external content creators to adapt and package creative assets for assigned channels, ensuring alignment with platform norms and editorial tone.

Maintain an editorial calendar that reflects daily, weekly, and tentpole priorities; coordinate planning and visibility with key partners.

Support development of performance summaries and content reporting in partnership with strategy and analytics leads.

Monitor community interactions and fan sentiment, flagging trends and engagement risks or opportunities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

Work Experience: At least six (6) years of experience in social media publishing, platform programming, or content production required.

Experience managing brand channels in entertainment, franchise content, or agency environments strongly preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.

Knowledge and Skills

Strong fluency in platform-native storytelling, editorial tone, and content optimization required.

Familiarity with performance reporting tools and ability to interpret data to inform programming required.

Experience with social publishing tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Meta Suite, YouTube Studio) required.

Excellent copywriting and editorial judgment skills required.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment required.

Experience with animation IP, fan culture, or youth content preferred.

Knowledge of community engagement and content trends across platforms preferred.

Travel up to 5% of the time; ability to collaborate across global time zones as needed.

May be required to support early morning or evening publishing tied to global campaigns.

In compliance with local law, compensation information is disclosed where legally required. Pay Range: $87,500.00 - $162,500.00 salary per year. Actual salaries vary based on location, experience, and performance. Base pay is one component of total compensation, which may include bonuses, incentives, and benefits.
