Willmer Engineering is growing! We’re looking for a motivated Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technician to join our Atlanta team. Whether you’re an experienced technician or just starting your career, this is a great opportunity — certifications are preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person. Responsibilities
Test soils, concrete, asphalt, masonry, and other construction materials on active job sites. Operate field equipment such as nuclear density gauges, compression machines, and coring devices. Record results using mobile tools and communicate findings with contractors, clients, and engineers. Support special inspections and site assessments. Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work outdoors in varied conditions. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn. Certifications (NICET Level I/II, ACI Level I Concrete, Nuclear Density Gauge) are preferred — but we’ll provide paid training and certification support for the right candidate. DOT project experience a plus. Benefits
