Security Professional - CRE Unarmed Patrols Part-Time

Mc Lean, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. You will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, deter security-related incidents, and maintain a welcoming environment. Your presence and attention to detail will support a secure atmosphere for tenants and visitors, while your customer service skills and clear communication will enhance the overall experience. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. This position offers hands-on experience and growth opportunities, whether you are supplementing income or taking the first step toward a full-time role. Position Details

Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.37 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM; Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or incidents as outlined by site protocols Assist visitors, tenants, and/or employees with general inquiries and directions within the property Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to occupants What We’re Looking For

Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles Possess a high school diploma or equivalent Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws Drug screen required as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only Why Join Us
