IT Business Analyst (Information Technology Business Analyst)
This is an entry level professional responsible for leading complex business analysis efforts, eliciting and documenting requirements, and driving process improvements to support strategic organizational goals. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders and managing multiple initiatives. It collaborates to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensure projects meet project objectives and adhere to TABC standards for project management. Works under moderate to minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Responsibilities
Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of complex business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, surveys, data analysis and other applicable techniques, ensuring comprehensive and actionable outcomes.
Analyze and model current business processes, identify inefficiencies or gaps, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness and drive strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring solutions meet stakeholder needs and align with project objectives.
Act as a primary liaison between business units, project teams, and external vendors, managing expectations and resolving conflicts.
