Inbound Associates are responsible for efficiently and accurately receiving stock and inventory to ensure they are processed and put away in a timely and secure manner. This role requires forklift operation. You will receive in-house training for success, work at a fast pace, be attentive to detail, have a good attitude, and be able to embrace change. You will use a number of body mechanics including bending, lifting, pushing and pulling. Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL JOBS AND JOB FUNCTIONS Replenishment: Use correct machinery based on product location to pull pallets from overstock and replenish primary bins in other areas. Replenishment: Pull and transport warehouse stock to fulfill orders with speed and accuracy. Replenishment: Confirm items, count, and bins; report issues into mobile form. Replenishment: Complete assigned projects such as minimums and cycles during slow periods in the replenishment queue. Put away: Create an effective driving route to store all products in the correct location using forklift equipment and Company systems. Put away: Receive and stock inventory throughout the warehouse to fulfill orders with speed and accuracy. Check In: Separate returns from vendor orders. Check In: Accurately check in order items using IDS and SPS systems. Check In: Document all discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy and quality. Check In: Maintain the error log and use IDS to track accountability and ensure accuracy standards. Container Unloading: Unload containers in a timely fashion per driver and company requirements. Container Unloading: Confirm item numbers and quantities with attention to detail. IC & QA: Conduct daily cycle counts to ensure inventory counts and system data are correct. IC & QA: Manage overstock items to ensure accurate accounting. IC & QA: Investigate discrepancies and adjust inventory in Company systems when issues are resolved. IC & QA: Complete periodic tasks including internal transfers, coordinate serial numbers, and generate reports. ALL INBOUND POSITIONS: Follow equipment safety training, wear PPE/harness, operate safely, and maintain productivity and attendance standards. ALL INBOUND POSITIONS: Monitor equipment and report issues to ensure maintenance by a trained technician when needed. ALL INBOUND POSITIONS: Meet or exceed department standards for productivity and accuracy. ALL INBOUND POSITIONS: Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area. ALL INBOUND POSITIONS: Communicate with Receiving Manager to address operational issues promptly. Shift schedule 1st Shift A: Monday - Thursday, 7:00am - 5:30pm 1st Shift B: Tuesday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:30pm Wage and Benefits
Starting wage is $23.50/hr, with potential raise every 6 months up to $0.88. Environment: Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vehicles, temperature changes, dust, fumes, and gases; moderate noise level. The passage through the work area is average. Physical requirements include standing/walking up to 12 hours per day, effective communication, use of hands for grasping and manipulation, frequent bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Experience & Education
Experience: 1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment; receiving and/or inventory experience preferred. Education: This role does not require a degree. Relevant skills and experience are valued. Desired Traits & Skills
