Responsibilities

Lead recruitment, hiring and training of store staff to ensure excellent customer service.

Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked, organized and compliant with company standards.

Maintain a professional image among subordinates and supervisors.

Schedule employees within company guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain site image.

Apply non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling, motivating and separations.

Develop positive supplier relationships and promote safe, professional service to customers.

Resolve customer complaints in a timely, professional manner and promote a safe public image in the community.

Provide ongoing training to ensure customer service, site image and marketing execution meet Company standards.

Ensure effective communication with all employees and conduct periodic meetings with site staff and the Market Manager.

Evaluate and implement action plans to meet site objectives; organize and maintain site files and manuals.

Supervise store employees to ensure reports are completed accurately and timely, merchandise is stocked and displayed appropriately, and prices are correct.

Comply with employment-related posters and signage accessibility requirements.

Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize sales and net profits; budget and forecast P&L lines; safeguard cash handling; conduct relevant financial analysis.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and promote safety awareness among staff.

Operate with minimal direction and demonstrate effective leadership at all times.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.

Experience in retail sales preferred.

Experience with essential duties and working conditions described.

Ability to supervise and train staff using equipment and processes described for CSR and ASM roles.

Ability to supervise and manage CSR/ASM functions.

Proficiency with computer skills as needed for reports, inventory control, cash control and related tasks.

Valid driver’s license and transportation to/from bank and corporate meetings.

English communication (oral and written).

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Working Conditions

Primarily indoors with occasional outdoor work for cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Exposure to occasional cold temperatures when working near walk-in coolers or freezers.

Exposure to noise and a requirement to work with minimal supervision.

Role requires ongoing leadership and management responsibilities.
