In this role, the Environmental Technician II will perform routine and frequent manual and heavy labor tasks to properly treat, store, pack, move and/or dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with environmentally responsible and cost-effective practices along with Clean Earth policies and procedures. Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Supervise and operate fork trucks and other heavy equipment when properly trained to move materials for storage/loading and off-loading/production Collect samples of inbound waste for laboratory analysis Complete required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management Separate and pack materials for transport and disposal Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older 1+ years related work experience Ability to operate equipment, including a forklift and pallet jack Have the ability to read, write and speak in English Ability to wear company provided personal protection equipment including eye protection, steel toe shoes, hard hat, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience sampling and receiving hazardous waste Additional Information
