Teach a 5-course annual load including Human Anatomy & Physiology with lab. Mentor theses and contribute to the introductory biology series. Offer rotating courses such as Physiology with lab and electives in the candidate's area of specialty, contributing to the College's general education requirements. Develop and sustain an active research program that includes Whitman student researchers. Participate in faculty governance, mentorship, or service as aligned with interests and talents. Qualifications

Ph.D. in biology or a related field by the time of appointment. Evidence of potential for an active research program with undergraduate researchers. Application process
