What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Create and nurture an energetic team environment for swimmers and families
Support stroke development and overall swimmer improvement
Develop positive relationships between swimmers and coaches
Assist in the recruitment and retention of team members
Collaborate with the Head Coach on meet coverage and team activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
USA Swimming Coach Certification required
Experience working with kids and their families
Knowledge of USA Swimming rules and regulations
General communication, organizational, and computer skills
Swim coaching experience, preferably with USA Swimming
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification preferred
Previous coaching experience in a competitive swim environment
Familiarity with different swimmer ages and abilities
Strong interpersonal skills to engage with parents and swimmers
Ability to demonstrate techniques in the water
