$35.19/hr - $35.19/hr Responsibilities and qualifications

The Wyoming Police Department (WYPD) is seeking qualified candidates to fill a vacant police officer position. Applicants must be MCOLES certifiable or currently certified law enforcement officers with MCOLES certifications. Out-of-state candidates are encouraged to apply and must be eligible for the MCOLES Recognition of Prior Training and Experience Program. Experienced officers may qualify for lateral transfer and higher starting pay. WYPD employs 103 sworn officers and offers specialized unit opportunities including detective bureau, K-9, tactical team, crisis negotiation, motorcycle unit, school resource officer, Kent Area Narcotics Team, tactical bike team and more.
