Overview
Great UHY client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a CPA or be working toward one, large company and client experience, and 3-5 years of accounting experience, including corporate.
The Senior Accountant role is a client direct hire. This is an onsite position.

Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Record and maintain journal entries for central office activities, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to internal controls.
Perform monthly account reconciliations with accuracy and within established deadlines.
Ensure that financial transactions are recorded in compliance with relevant accounting standards and organizational policies.
Manage the monthly financial close process for central operations.
Provide support to internal stakeholders on financial processes, including journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly close procedures.
Prepare quarterly financial reports and analysis packages for leadership review.
Collaborate with external accounting service providers to ensure timely and accurate processing of outsourced functions.
Coordinate with regional finance teams to manage intercompany billing and reconciliation activities.
Support both internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and responses.
Assist in maintaining and testing internal controls as part of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance efforts.
Lead or contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally including corporate experience
CPA or working toward one
SAP and HFM experience preferred
