The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire accounts receivable process within the company. This role includes managing the AR team, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, handling collections, and maintaining excellent customer relationships. The Accounts Receivable Manager will work closely with other departments to optimize processes and support overall financial health. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the billing team in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations. Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts receivable function. Oversee the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely invoices. Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts. Manage the credit approval process for new and existing customers. Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Develop and implement effective collection strategies. Communicate with customers regarding past-due accounts and coordinate collection activities. Resolve customer billing inquiries and disputes in a timely manner. Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and collection efforts. Provide detailed analysis and insights into AR performance and trends. Assist in month-end closing and prepare related reports for management review. Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure a seamless billing and collection process. Collaborate with the finance team to support cash flow forecasting and budgeting. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Identify and mitigate risks associated with accounts receivable operations. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work. Fluent in Spanish to interact with the Mexico based team. Preferred Skills

Experience in the trucking and logistics industry. Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools. Knowledge of collection laws and regulations. Equal Opportunity Statement
